Which 22 inch monitor

226BW all the way. Although not many people think its big enough any more..

I think 22" is all you need for a computer screen, except for those which do rendering and animation work. Just think back to the old days when everyone had to put up with 15" CRT's..

Well I'm using my Yuraku at the moment and I am well happy with it.

I was using the VGA cable that came with it as it didn't come with a DVI - DVI cable. I bought a dual link DVI cable from the States on fleebay and it turned up today. I swapped the cable and it showed the BIOS fine but after loading a little bit of Windows the screen went blank and said No Signal.

Nothing is ever easy is it.... Had to boot into safe mode, uninstall my graphics cards drivers, download the drivers again (at the same time my internet decided to play up... I was pulling all of 10k a second) and re-install the drivers when Windows booted correctly.

Seems just switching cables buggered up some sort of setting with my drivers.

Pics will follow.

@ Hassan: Misco is the retailer, not the manufacturer.

@ Bungral: I haven't ordered anything from them but if they screwup like that I'll probably steer clear of them in the future, least it's all sorted now.

Im gald you have it all sorted now. It will be worth the hassle.

Well the cable problem was just typical really... Even what should be just plug and play never seems to be. Loving up the screen though :D Stalker looks the biz on it. Poor ol 8800GT only churning out 55-60 FPS-ish now in the tough parts on the gfx card.

To be honest.. I said to myself I wouldn't use them if they didn't sort out my issue to my satisfaction. They did though so I wont hold it against them. If they are cheaper for anything then I'll still use them. What happened to me must be quite rare and it's just one of those things. They dealt with it quite quickly and sent out a new one to me rather than the one that had been sent to Wales.

It is not about how big your monitor is.. it is about what it can display! :D

No images of the new screen?

Well as you asked... I promise I'll get them up tonight. I have the folder just sitting here on my desktop... Just need somewhere to upload them *nudges Jimbo*..... :D

Might even get the pics of my comp up in my build log thing...

Well that's the one thing that will be changing on my system very soon... Gonna wait for a couple of reviews to see what's the best out of the soon to be released wave of GFX cards and then buy it. :D

Monitor Pics

Ok so here they are. I'll stick one of the more important images first. The model number proving it's a VA panel :). Also see my horrible old 19" before getting stashed away in the spare room.

In the first few pics you'll see the horrible sticky stuff left on the monitor from the badge protection film. It's all off now so not an issue.

Cool :)

The Yuraku 24" monitors are amazing.

The only thing I've done with mine tho is put something over the bright blue LED on the front.

Appart from that, the viewing angles etc are excellent. I'm using mine as a TV aswell with a 1080i upscaling freeview reciever :D
