I am a total newb to overclocking and would like to tweak my cpu to at least 4.2ghz now ive tried this with Gigabytes EZTune 6 but I get a message saying my bios or mobo isnt set up for this would i like to return to factory defaults.I have a i5 3570k cpu and a Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD3 motherboard 8gb Vengeance LP Black memory in Dual Channel powered by a 500w OCZ Xstreme PSU.My Hard Drive is a Samsung 840 256gb SSD and sata controllers are set AHCI in bios to get the best performance from my SSD with Windows 7 Ultimate loaded this way.It seems if I try to tweak using auto tune i either get blue death screen on reboot or the message i said above any help would be much appreciated thanks:confused:

Tip 1) Don't use the motherboard software to OC.
Tip 2) Download OCCT for OC'ing.
Tip 3) Install lastest bios drivers from Gigabyte(do this first).
Advice: With this motherboard you may not be able to get as low volts as others on the forum have. That board is designed for very limited OC'ing and therefore may require more volts to keep the CPU stable.
