Where can I find a HX1200i?

Hey, I'm currently hunting for a corsair HX1200i. I ordered one three weeks ago from BT business direct, as it said stock die in 5 days. They've now updated that ETA to. 28th of March!

I've just out an order in with amazon, just in case they do actually dispatch first and I'll cancel the BT order. But does anyone have any suggestions on somewhere that may actually have one in stock? Or would atleast be able to supply one in less than a month?

Thanks,
~~ Lucy

I think amazon is probably going to be your fastest bet, it would seem almost everyone is out of stock or awaiting stock.

Just canceled both orders I had in and picked up an RM1000X instead. Only rated gold, not platinum but impatience has gotten the better of me :p

I thought you ladies had patience :P

Not when it comes to PC hardware! :p

Is there any reason you wanted Corsair?. I'm just curious and a Superflower fan when it comes to PSU's.

I basically already decided on a second hand AX1200i and I ordered a set of custom cables for it. Then the guy ended up messing me around and the entire deal started getting really sketchy, wouldn't take PP etc. That's why I was looking for a HX1200i as it uses the same cables.

I messaged the guy that's made the cables for me and he said he can easily change them to fit the RM1000X a PSU that I could actually find. So it all just made sense really.

TBH I would not buy a 1200i. I have seen many of them fail (red light). They are not as good as the original ones IMO. You made a wise choice :)

Sounds like the first guy is try to pass a dud unit as a working unit, you possibly dodged a bullet backing out there.

Lucky the guy is making your cables to fit the RMx model, I've got an original RM with CableMod set so if that packs in, I'm limited on options, unless I shell another £100 or so out on a new set of cables
