Would it be fair to say places would like to sell their existing stock to a high % until they fall into line - so are only dropping a little atm to remain competitive ?
Eventually it`ll work it`s way through ?
pfft most stockists will get the `newer` stock at a lower price and try to keep prices as high as they can lol
Herr Schmidt posted this a couple months ago, and I brought it back up... can't remember where. Anywho, if my memory is working (I was born with cheap RAM it won't be until Q3 at the earliest, maybe Q4 of 2007... so a little bit of a wait for Q2D 6600's to drop in price to the high 200's/ low 300's. Personally if I was planning on getting something right now I'd hold off, get the piggy-bank good and full, then grab the Q2D and find the best DX10 gpu for the money. Timing couldn't be better since ATI should finally have something out and make gpu prices competitive, and nVidia may even come out with an upgrade to the 8800 series gpu's. Food for thought if nothing else...
