What's your occupation?

there are fitters and mechanics, you can train to be either one..
i dont know about tire fitter. but when it comes to engines and stuff like that the only reall difference between a mechanic and a fitter is.
you tell a fitter you need a new cam belt. and he sees a bunch of other things are busted too. he/she will just change your cam belt.
a mechanic will go ahead and change everything and then charge you a fortune.

Not sure who i'd rather have fixing my car.

It can be yes but if it's a dedicated truck shop then tyre fitting has to be done literally non stop so things run smoothly :)

Sounds like fun.

What exactly do graphics programmer's do? Do you just program the engine to make shadows appear correctly and lighting? Just wondering:)

Write shaders, asset pipelines, resource management, implement lighting models (e.g. PBR), post-processing techniques, writing interfaces to the hardware renderer APIs, support artists, lots of optimisations and many more :)

Seems like you have one of the more important jobs as that programmer. If you are willing to share, what company do you now work for? I'm just wondering is all.^_^

well as im going to be doing trucks, trailors cars, vans, atv, cranes, 4x4 so anything that need a tyre

But all you do is put tyres on those cars right? I thought that it might only sound rather simple but actually has a lot more complex car mechanic stuff to it.

I don't think that people know how dangerous tyre fitting can be, especially the big industrial stuff. I worked in the tyre industry for awhile and have personally seen a locking ring blow off a truck rim.

I work as a SAP security Analyst- just starting out really and have been contracting since Jan. Used to be a forensic scientist for 14 yrs in the drugs section for the Met Police/Fss but then they closed the section down.
SAP is vast and the more I learn the more interesting it is..composite roles, org values, charter of authority for approving invoices, the new customer/supplier modules SRM/CRM....
