Didn't know about the extra cost does seem rather stupid that they would do it at the same price for x amount of time and, then the price increases unless they are planning to put the prices up in general in October.

Summers don't start until you hit uni, you have like 4 months off between each year!
 
Student of Mechanical Engineering, currently revising for resits after a few medical issues that prevented me from taking them last semester. Lost myself a large portion of a summer :(.

In all seriousness, I assume those will consist mainly of me working basically anywhere I can find work due to being broke all the time :P

One of the reasons why i did my aptitude tests this year. Next year i will be done with my apprenticeship in april, next semester starts in october. 6 months of free time. Oh lord that is going to be good.

Yeah it's great, if someone funds you through it! Otherwise you have to be content with no money.

Personally I would never spend that long without doing something productive, it usually involved writing a game engine.
 
Hi

I have worked as an IT guy doing most everything for an Investment Management firm for the last 20 years. Last 8 or so doing mainly programming in Python and VB.Net and also managing our in house research and modeling SQL server data store. We have quite a few servers and 6 instances of SQL server.

I went to school and worked as a Respiratory Therapist for the last 22 years. Now I am finishing my BS degree in Enterprise security and Java programming.

who knows. maybe you're just playing it smart here. "working in a factory" could be anything! you just don't want to tell us how you get your dirty quad titan money!
 
I'm a Publicity Student atm, that means designing stuff like logo's, advertisement, . . . After that i will follow Architecture but more of a mix. Instead of hardcore mathematics all those years so we can calculate every single thing it will be more of mix between calculating and designing. Really looking forward to it actually :D
I do work while i've got vacation, i work at the "Haribo" candy factory ^^
