What's your occupation?

It's a mixture of things including Maths, Programming (Mainly Java and C#), Web Development (PHP and .NET), a bit of Linux and a bunch of miscellaneous subjects that won't ever be used in a working environment.

The Programming and Web Development aspects will vary with each University. Some Universities will teach Java and C#, some will teach Java and VB, etc, etc.
 
The maths i'd be good at, but the rest i'm an analogical Virgin Mary :(

its actually really great.. All my friends are working in a supermarket at shitty times, gotta do shitty jobs and earn 4,50 and i can just work whenever i want, i like what i do and i earn 6,5

and yassar what jobs will u be going to do? like what are you going to make?

I haven't fully decided which path I'm going to take. I will be making my decision in my final year at Uni.

I will most likely go down the programming route. Either C# or Java as those are the languages I have the most experience with. I've done a bit of VB here and there, but once you have an understanding of the syntax used for one language, you can generally pickup other languages fairly quickly.

and OOP, as i said im doing web developing now but i might wanna go a level up where i have to do C# and Java aswell, but all i know is that i like making websites and i dont know what you really can do with C# & Java..

I'm a bit jealous of you guys doing computer sciences given how much I enjoy doing this stuff now!

I did Psychology and Social Anthropology at Uni all those years ago (well about 4 now lol) and it was pretty interesting but I've never used it and should have done Sports science or computer science really. Not that either of those have got anything to do with my job now either come to think of it!
