never really built one system, started with a 386 which worked its way up changing bit by bit until it stoped in some pentium 4 variety, then got an inspiron 6400 laptop, and now the rig im using atm which is a q9450,8800 gts 512, asus striker II, xms2 4gb, seagate 500gbx2 raid 0.

Ive made a video card thread before but idk about a system thread.

Ive kinda upgraded mine over the years a piece at a time. So ill just name the parts ive had before.

486 Overdrive 100

Some Asus board

Pentium 133mhz OCed to 150mhz -> Pentium 233mhz

This had 32mb ram, Trident VGA, and SB 16 ISA, 2 500meg HDs, 16x Creative CDrom

Next lineup

AMD Duron 950mhz which i eventualy modded to 1.1gig

ECS K7S5A board

RAM included 512mb PC133 -> 512mb DDR

Video cards, SIS 24bit PCI/ Voodoo1 -> Voodoo2 -> Voodoo2 SLI -> Riva TNT/Voodoo2 SLI -> Voodoo 3 2000 -> Voodoo 5 5500

upgraded to 3gig Maxtor -> 80gig Maxtor
