No-one really knows yet as they aren't really mass production, and the Chilly1 is brand new, as in 3 days old on the catalogue. But they will improve the load temps better due to much better internal surface area over the Mach II original CPU block. If you have no phase-change experience though I would recommend just getting the GT as you risk killing your motherboard if you don't insulate the block/board/CPU correctly.

Load temps vary considerably. Dont forget its load where it matters, and in the first two units we produced, as above, both were using a charge of r507 to approx 200w of dissipation. Idle temps on both were fairly consistant, but under load the Chilly holds the best temps by several degrees.

hy,

i hope its time?

Have you now the temps´?

macht 2 = -20

vapo LS = -25

macht 2 GT = -30

Chilly1 = ???

Backer = ???

What's all these figures about?! No way does my MkII get anywhere near -20, never gone warmer than -40 after hours under load! I hope there's nothing wrong with mine - Please explain where these figures have come from?

Cheers

I think he's referring the load temps of the CPU, although even this will vary hugely board to board. The loads temps on my IC7-MAX3 are around -8C and apparently, if you have the P4C800*, you can remove another 10 degrees from the reported temperature. I have the ST, so I don't know the temps of the unit itself.
