ok i want upgrade my gpu in your opinion whats the best. i have a few in mind 560ti or should i go higher. just want here everyone thoughts on this .

I'd say best card to get is the 570 it's not that much slower than a 580 and it will max all games.

well iam looking at some of the specs of ti's and some of them in certain way are better than 570's

right now i playin1024x768 but i will getting a new 24 or 27" soon .

For 1024x768 a 560 ti would be ok but when you get a new monitor and if it's going to be 1080p i'd go with the 570 not just to max every game but because it will last you a lot longer as well, pay now save later.

i see that i have puzzled you with than 560ti in some way have better specs than the 570's at aira when compared......

yet again they overclocked ti's

The 570 is the better card I don't know what specs you mean but the 560 ti is slower than the 570.

EVGA GeForce GTX 560Ti 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card [01G-P3-1560-KR]

Core: 822MHz, Memory: 1024MB 4000MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 384, Shader Clock: 1600MHz, SLI Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled

Gainward GeForce GTX 570 PHANTOM Ed. 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Core: 750MHz, Memory: 1280MB 3900MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 480, Shader Clock: 1500MHz, SLI Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled

just a slight difference in red were the 560ti is better and green were the 570 has the edge

The 570 is the faster card if you want to go with the 560 ti fair enough but the 570 is the better card.

The clocks don't really matter as a gpu can be overclocked, just because the 560ti has higher clocks doesn't mean that is better.

It's like saying a 3.4ghz pentium is faster than a 2.6ghz quad core, if it's judged by the core speed.

The main difference is the amount of memory and the stream processors the 570 has, meaning the card itself has more bandwidth and the ability to overclock it means it can be much faster than the 560ti.

Take a look at this 560ti vs 570 comparison

edit: btw I would recommend the 570 or if you can afford it the 580, but if you can't justify spending that much money on a gpu a 560ti is also a very good card.

I was looking for some el-cheapo 480 cards, but they've vanished quick and the only ones I found were 3rd party @ £100 more >.< (which is why they aint selling I spect) You could have bought one and put a 570 sticker on it

570 will do you proud I'm sure. I wouldn't entertain any sli/xfire business when this one card will do it all for you.

Check you psu has connections and power enough for it too.

The chip on the 570 is different to that on the 560Ti, the clock speeds aren't really relevant.

If you stay with your current monitor, get a 560Ti

If you go to 1080p, get a 570

If you want it to last a while, get a 580

Look at the MSi Twin Frozr II/III/Lightning editions, the cooler is insane, and its quiet too.

yea psu should handle a 570 i have Coolermaster Silent ProM 700W

The same cooler keeps a 580 really cool, so imagine what it would keep a 560Ti or 570 at.

Tbh, a 560Ti is still going to give good performance at 1080p too. The 570 is the best bet overall, its just up to your budget

560Ti Twin Frozr II £187

560Ti Twin Frozr II/OC £197 or so inc. shipping

560Ti Twin Frozr II/SOC £209, probably a bit higher with shipping, just doing a quick check

So the 560Ti hits the sweet spot, the570 can be had for around £260, but for your budget I think the 560Ti nails it

ive been looking at scan.co.uk (and overchargers, I mean overclockers) every day for the last few weeks as i am gonna be in the market for a 570 Twin frozr at the end of the month and they say theyre on pre order, the one day i dont look and theyve got them in!! (cheerz Ya93sin) Dunno if to order it now on the old credit card and pay it at the end of the month as i looks like these monsters are selling out fast
