What's Happened to Mav?

You guys might have noticed that I am not posting so much right now, still lurking and moderating the forum though.

Reason is simple, I am currently enjoying the power that I have at hand and immersing myself in games, well World of Warcraft to be exact - which looks great at 1920*1200 with full eye candy engaged .

So I have not turned my back on benching - merely a change of scenery which I had been promising myself to do for over a year.

Look out for Mav's benching weeekends though - this will kinda balance things out for me - when a new piece of hardware lands on my lap I will be abusing it to the max for a few days before returning to the gaming scene, some of which will hopefully be sometime in November.

I know exactly where you are coming from mav,and working toward a similar idea for myself.Right now,i'm typing on the 670 and p5wd2 (albeit on a gt and tech cooled gfx),whilst i have K's of latest hardware sitting in bench config out in the kitchen,getting minimal use.Its pretty nuts,but i am working on it.

Ive done exactly the same really, back onto games and concentrating on real life for me at the moment. Havent benched in a fair few months. Its hard but do-able

Just got my own 24" - it's pretty stunning, I just have to avoid getting addicted to games now they look so fantastic!
