Whats a good TV series to start watching?

I loved Flash Forward was gutted they only made 1 series

Yep me too, thought that one had loads of promise...

Enjoyed watching the event though, that started off a little slow but ended up really good. Hope they make a 2nd season of that...

Stargate Universe even though it's been cancelled there were still a couple of series.

Probably not worth watching Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior and The Event as they've both also been cancelled after 13 and 22 episodes.

Haven isn't too bad and shows potential for the second series.

Oh yeah and NCIS + NCIS LA

WHAT the event has been cancelled? I really enjoyed that and Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior - can't believe that they've cancelled both of them... really disappointed...

Sadly yes. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. The Event was decent but certain plots early on were a bit hit and miss and left behind but it picked up pace towards the end.

Suspect Behavior was never as good as the main show though especially with the Welsh / Irish / Jamaican accented dude. He couldn't quite work out where he was from.

I agree I've watched all 6 seasons of the original, but just thought that this had real potential - maybe the team needed to be a little darker and more unorthodox. I know what you mean about the sniper boy's accent lol. The story needed to rake up some dirt on the team members and put them more at risk like with the original...

I am currently catching up on castle and went to amates and seen Game of Thrones I had never heard of it but I will watch that next

only 8eps made so far tho

Game of Thrones is good it starts off a bit slow but it is getting better and better with each episode.

That one looks quite interesting. I missed that one, will give it a go.

If you like Lord of The Rings and stuff like that you will like it. Sean Bean is one of the main characters in it so the acting is good as well but the best actor out the lot is the midget IMO.

Just looked at clip on youtube it looks good. Don't know if its one I'll end up watching on my own or whether the other half will approve.

Now and Again was a great series

[from wikipedia]

"It was an American television series that aired in the US from September 24, 1999 until May 5, 2000 on CBS. The story revolves around the United States government engineering the perfect human body for use in espionage, but not being able to yet perfect the brain. In an attempt to get the project up and running, they take the brain of overweight family man Michael Wiseman, who is killed in a subway accident.

Given a new life, Michael is kept in an apartment where he is trained by government experts, led by Dr. Theodore Morris, in the art of espionage. Despite his new life and new abilities, Michael longs to return to his wife Lisa and daughter Heather, who are themselves discovering that not all is as it seems with Michael's death.

The show mixed action with comedy (particularly in the relationship between Dr. Morris and Michael), and focused largely on Michael's emotional connection to his family."

Watched the first episode of Game of Thrones last night. Its a keeper - what can I say boobilicous...

I just started watching Dollhouse, Always in the back of my head it sounded like a chick flick like Gossip girl or some thing.

But here I pulled this from Wiki
tongue.gif

The show revolves around a corporation running numerous underground establishments (known as "Dollhouses") across the globe which program individuals referred to as Actives (or Dolls) with temporary personalities and skills. Wealthy clients hire Actives from Dollhouses at great expense for various purposes. The series primarily follows the Active known as Echo, played by Eliza Dushku (who also served as producer), on her journey towards self-awareness.

It started a little slow but from about episode 7 or 8 it gets better, Also don't watch the Pilot episode 00 as clips from it are used threw out the show and makes it confusing watching bits twice.
