If I purchase a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, how do I know what video card to buy?

I'm looking to spend $150-200.

Thats not a massive budget tbh dude, Id say your looking at an ATI 5770 for around that much in the USA

Amazon listed about 20 different cards with that number.

What brands are the best?

I saw Asus, HIS, XFX, MSI, Diamond Multimedia, and more, etc????

ASUS or MSI as they allow for easy voltage changes

HIS or saphire are good to as they usaly have better coolers

Id agree with AMDFTW to the fact you should go with Asus or MSI but i lean to Asus.

HIS and Sapphire have good after market cooling but usualy cost more.

I know which one to get ! The cheapest one

With the 5830 they can differ vastly due to ATI not handing them a reference card. They can come on 5850 boards, 5870 and so on. As long as it has a decent cooler? well the GPU and ram are all the same, so just get the cheapest one tbh.

As for the voltage? IIRC MSI afterburner can be sorted to use on any 5 series. So paying extra for that is madness.
