What soundcard peeps?

I've only ever used 1 soundcard and that was out of your budget so pretty limited here. Creative always do good quality ones.

My one if you're wondering was Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional which was superb quality, could hear enemies far away, people would think I wallhack because I could pretty much hear them from our spawn :).
 
I just turned my volume up :) I use Xfi gamer and it is fine, but I also think you need to consider the audio gear you are listening with. No good having the best card in the world and then using headphones from LIDL. if you get my drift.
 
my speakers are fine there probly midrange 2.1 setup,but its my 1st sound card so £40 is my budget obviosly if i see a difference then further down the line ile get top end.

so whitch one out of the creative then chaps?
 
I haven't tried much gaming with my x-fi titanium yet, but music/movies sound alot clearer. but out of your price range :(
 
HMM the bay seems to have some good products on there,i wont be purchasing till feb so its abit gash as the XFI platinum looks awsome and i would bidif i had the cash,i cant budge on the budget ither
