So, I have an Asus Maximus IX Code and I'll be watercooling 2 1080 TI soon but I would like to run one of the EK sli bridges (ran in the past and like them). my question is which one would fit this board. Maybe I'm missing something but there is 2 slots in between the 2 16x pcie slots. Am I SOL on using the bridges lol? Also wanted it to be in serial too.... Thanks for the info.

Well since I assume you are going to use EK waterblocks on your future cards, you need to check EKWB site and look at the compatibility. Should be able to help you.

One way to check is to look at the bitspower crystal link tubes for SLI, they should also help since they call each version 1slot,2slot,3slot design and give you measurements. You can then measure the gap with yours.

If I remember right. if you have one pci slot between your cards, its a 2slot setup. If both cards are smack beneath one another e.g. lower card would be touching upper one. thats 1slot gap

edit:

For use with motherboards with PCIe x16 slots 60.9 mm (2.4") apart!

I have 2 slots in-between the 2 pcie slots. Not counting the pcie slots used for the gpu's.

Well then yours looks like the picture ergo 3slot gap?

I also provided the measured distance between the two so you can use that and measure yours if you still arent sure.
