Hello there, i need a little advice i was reading the Reviews from James Napier, about the Corsair HX850W and Corsair HX750W but i don't know what to buy... I'm planning to get the Cooler Master Sniper case, and the new 860 i7 (1156) a EVGA GTX 260 Super clocked video card (single card) 2x2gb ddr3, high End mother, etc. and I want to know if the 750 its gonna be good enough, :wiggle: i found the 750 for $135.99 after mail-in-rebate and the 850 @ $169.99 both of them @ zipzoomfly, so its anybody can give me a hand, I really go to appreciate that :wavey:

ohh i forgot, between the COOLER MASTER HAF 922 and the COOLER MASTER Sniper witch one you guys think is better?

Hi :),

I would definately go for the Corsair HX850w if u have the funds as this will give you some future proofing if u decide to add a 2 or 3 gcards, not sure on the cases thou as I have had no experince with either, but i am sure someone will give you the low down on both :)

I would definately look at your gcard choice thou as ATI have bought out there latest range of cards that will out perform even an overclocked 260 and the price's are very competitive :)

Peter is right buy the one you like the look of most.

Sniper is blue lights and the 922 has red lights, personaly I prefer the 922.

Thks so much you guys, for the quick response and for try to help me, I don't think that i gonna put any SLI or Crossfire configuration in that computer, in respect of the case i was reading some's reviews and they are some people complaining about the fan controller.... :( the 922 have enough room?

You may decide to go dual card at a later date thou m8e :) is always best to plan forward as u may only want a single card setup now but in a years time u may decide to add another:)

Is entirely upto you on the case as both are pretty good from what I have read.

The HAF 922 has excellent airflow and is pretty reasonably priced :)

But Tom is the man when it comes to cases as he has probably modded most of them so knows better than most what they are like.

Good luck whichever way u go :)

Welcome to the forums as well btw!

The hx750 will still be good enough for two GTX260s, and in a years time, single cards will be better than two 260's in SLI anyway, go for the 750! :)

Thks again, I Almost Done :p  i was thinking to get the ASUS P7P55D LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard and them i take a look in to the GIGABYTE GA-P55-UD4P LGA 1156, i don't go to to SLI or Crossfire, wich one you guys think have more performance or wich one is more worthy for the money and performance?

Corsair HX850 installed one a few weeks back and it has been stable and very quiet,i got this one over the 1000 watt corsair and im glad i did.:)

I vote for the HAF922 over the Sniper for the simple fact that I like the red lights better than blue, easier on the eyes in a dark room :) Aside from that they are both pretty good cases from a design standpoint.

As for the PSU, if you have the extra funds, go with the HX850 as it never hurts to have a little more juice, but honestly either one should do you just fine I would think.

I would buy the HAF932 case great air cooling and pre set up for water cooling. PSu always buy more than you need for future updating, corsair hx 1000 or Strider 1000w PSU

New hardware is more power with similar or less power consumption from everything ive seen. You wont ever use more than 850 watt if your a regular user like most of us... Corsair ftw...

750 is good for an average enthusiast system, 850 already has large margins so I don't think there is any need for 1000w.
