I was just looking back through old threads and searched my first post and came back with this.. I blame this place wholly and Tox and Kemp and Ali James for the first few replies!!

Tis all your fault!!

Ok so this isn't typical humour but it made me semi chuckle inside.. Next incarnation of my comp will come in May and again I blame all you lot!

(Not my fault at all)

LOL - what's it been for me? 2 years? I came on here with a dell, wanted to upgrade and OC it. Next thing I knew I had a watercooled c2d... THousands of pounds later I'm still here. You know it's bad when you get hardware dreams. To remedy that I'm having a tasty lil blonde come over tonight. I clearly need some tlc lol

One of us...One of us....One of us!!! :worship::worship:

The bug has bitten. From here one in things get progressively worse (better?). See viscous circle below:

1. Soon you'll be bored of water cooling and wanting to move to something a bit more "extreme".

2. You'll start sniffing around phase change units (like Mr Smith).

3. Then you'll buy one, kill 3 motherboards and a processor (like Fragtek) and decide you've had enough.

4. You'll buy a Mac

5. You'll get bored. Move back to a basic PC, re-join OC3D and get pushed back into Step #1 again ;)

(Queue Lion King) The circle of life...

Never a truer word spoken Jim, speaking of phase, I figured not gpu is really worth an upgrade atm so that sniffing around phases has turned into touching, licking and poking.

I have some quotes from some Europeans and I'm so, so, sooooooo close to comissioning the work...

I skipped steps 1 and 2, and it was only one motherboard, is that still ok? :D

Hmm...just on this one occasion I'll let it go...but in future you MUST break at least £600 worth of hardware before passing step #3

Pah I've never broken anyway near that much...but then I'm more careful overclocking stuff than others are :p

ooooooo mr perfect is in the house!!

(i thought all overclockers were MEANT to break something at some point,as a sort of initiation(sp) of sorts)
