Backtrack's first beta release was 11 months AFTER this thread was posted. It simply didn't exist to be put on the list

Yup looks like a gimmicky shit to me. If you are a securely professional you are much more likely to be using redhat.

Puppy liunx (because it runs on a turd and uses 40mbs of ram)-its allways on my usb stick and debian as its as solid as a rock my old dinosaur back up rig has been running it for years without fult.
