What is your Fitness Routine?

hi WillSK,

another YT blog will be going live around xmas time.
there will also be a new blog going LIVE for my fitness/health classes, in the new year. :D

TIP: the best way to start anything is with a clean slate

...i will continue the way i am going (dropping 2-3lbs per week). then once i have got rid of all the fat, i will eat for growth (but not bulking - there is a huge difference). i want clean muscle, not dirty muscle ;)

any mass added to me, then, will be lean muscle.

a quote from my dad - "if you aint gonna do it properly - dont bother doing it all!"

Here is a video showing Arnold standing next to and talking to Ferrigno who is 6'5 and you can tell he's only a few inches shorter than Big Lou.

lol - forget the hype.
take a look at the crowd, arnie walks through, in the first 10-15secs of that clip... alot of the crowd are the same height (or even taller)!

are you telling me that is a crowd of tall people?

they are very clever people - they are not going to BE STOPPED "for a chat" in amongst people that make them look smaller..! ...marketing = they are selling themselves ;)

Monster Milk is :(

the CM in it is rubbish - it is Kre-Alkalyn (http://www.brinkzone.com/bodybuilding/the-creatine-grave-yard/)

...and MM also has the 100% RDA of certain vitamins in one serving - this means that constantly taking MM for more than one serving a day can lead to adverse side-effects. (http://isocrates.hubpages.com/hub/Monster-Milk-Review)

i don't rate it - it is a lazy man's all-in-one solution attempt - a feable ploy my its makers to get into the market :(

but - hey - each to their own ;)

That Monster Milk review sure likes Kre-Alkalyn ;) I have to admit that , yes, I'm trying to use it as an All in one solution :P What would you recommend as a standalone CM that won't break the bank as I'm currently unemployed :( I recently picked up (3x) 2 pound Monster Milk's for $65.

CM is dirt cheap
and so are some protein powders too

i cannot name brands as i am in the UK and you are in the US :(

but... buying in bulk always saves money

i use Axis Labs Creatine Ethyl Ester and i buy it in 360 tab tubs, and i use Reflex Nutrition Creapure Creatine powder which i buy in a 100 serving tub.

as for protein shake formulas - i use Optimum Health Original Ultimate Whey (2.25kg tub = 75 servings)... it is the best strawberry flavour shake i have tasted. (i have tasted some terrible ones in the past)

i take 3 CEE tabs in the morning with a protein shake AND breakfast.
i take my CM powder 1 hour before my workout with 1 litre of water.
then 15mins before my workout i take my other protein shake.

this ensures my muscles have what it needs... bang on time.

i then eat a casserole/stew within an hour of training (fish/chicken or beef).

The quality of their products as a whole. I remember spending hundreds on Promax a few years ago. I was too young for Progain due to the Creatine.

the creatine in Maximuscle Progain Extreme is not a derivative of CM, like others. it is proper 'untouched' CM. but again i do not think AIO supplements are the whey to go!

(see what i did there)

Man I'm glad I was just into size and strength. All I had to do was lift my balls off then eat anything that wasn't nailed down. I accepted long ago that I don't have the discipline to get shredded. I'd rather have beer and pizza than have abs. Besides, I have little man syndrome from being a scrawny little wuss in high school so now I have to be bigger than everybody else. :p

And LOL at 5'10 Schwarzenegger! "He wears 4" lifts in his shoes". Gimme a break. :D

-Supplements - Glutamine, Creatine, BCAA's, Got a couple Reflex Proteins and some Pharma Blend for before bed.

Unless your quite a good size in which case you look like your just startin out, I wouldnt bother with all those supps your taking, just train hard, eat well and sleep well, You really are wasting money on thos things, Take it from someone who knows, I've only been working in the fitness industry for just over a year but training for 3 and studied fitness for a lot longer.
The only time when you need all that is when you get a substanial amount of muslce or if youve been brain washed by the supplement companys that you NEED their products.

Agreed. Until you've been at it a while and hitting plateaus there's really no need for all the super fancy supplements. As corny as it sounds just train hard, eat properly and get plenty of sleep and you'll gain plenty. After you've got a few years of straight training under your belt and progress starts getting harder and harder to come by, that's when supplements can help.
