I use ESET smart security. (firewall + nod32 etcetc)

Doesn't cost much in the grand scheme of things. I bought a 3 years license for 3 machines and can add extra machines at reduced cost when I need.

None For my home/gaming pc is my choice... Have yet to find a AV that doesn't piss me off... Windows UAC does the job fine,,, if you ain't on porn / warez sites you should be ok.....

For business McAffe is the industry standard....

free anti virusses are generally recommended , the paid ones don't deliver mostly , slow ur pc down , and dispite all don't do their job ( personal experience and friend who does IT )

i use the windows security one

meybey theirs a good paid one but haven't found it yet

.. what's that thing called .. erm .. arghh.. .... o yeah ..

"Being savy about the internet".

Get's you no virus' at-all. (not had one unintentionally for decades)

Installs for other people, you don't need to buy anything. Microsoft's Security Essentials is fine, and one of my historical free-bees would be FreeAVG.

.. but if you're not savy - your computer doesn't stand a chance, it's a matter of time.

Don't install any antivirus on my gaming computer and nothing on the macs.

Security Essentials, been using it for years, no problems at all. Does not slow system down, runs nicely in the background and best of all its FREEEE!!

Work uses Macafee, we have used AVG small business on delivered systems as it's the easiest to update air gapped.

I use avast personally as I find it the least intrusive, and it's free version seems to be one of the better "free" scanners available.
