I was wondering what gtx 970 to get because there is so many to choose from and I don't know which one is the best not sure really if one is better than the other. So can you guys suggest which one I should get. I was looking at a gigabyte gtx 970 but I wanted the community to have an input on my build.

Hard to go wrong with any of the major brands (MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte and Asus). I really like the new MSI stuff especially the Gaming series. There is also a MSI rep the frequents this forum and seems to be happy to help whenever he can. So MSI would bemy vote. EVGA is another good one with great customer service but there have been a lot of weird QC issues associated with their new Maxwell cards. Nothing catastrophic but enough to make me cautious.

Check out Tom's reviews. He's posted several of different brands and types.

Either the MSI or Asus just pick the one you like the look of most and go with it as price performance and warranty are about the same

I like the Gigabyte G1's extra video out options, so that was my choice. The Asus and MSI each allow their fans to stop at low temperatures, which is important to some people. Essentially the differences are minor, as said above.

I'd stay away from EVGA's offerings as they've not sorted out the heatpipe issues on one of their coolers. It really depends what you want from your 'card. If you want to stay on air and have a card that massively OCs then an Inno3D iChill X4 is a good bet. If you want a very quiet card then Asus' Strix card is the man of the hour.

Okay i wasnt really a fan of the DCU2 coolers from asus but this strix cooler looks amazing! Im not sure if that card runs passive when not gaming, the MSI one does, but even so, this looks really well put together.

I have two 780 strix and can confirm they make no noise until pushed by gaming
