What do you want?

Pretty simple question, other than the F@H article with a video guide (and some red ram when they get enough imc's) what do you want for the team / what would you like me to try and do for the team?

Before you ask Southern Electric just laughed at me

I suppose I am not really sure what you are asking.

:X

Convince the queen to start folding

surely the Royal family has computers they can put to good use.

Or the

Team OC3D Solar Farm Project : D

But seriously Tom you've done alot for this team we're all folding hard and I guess from a business standpoint moving up in the Charts will give you plenty of ammunition for companies Like our Wonderful Sponsor Mushkin along with us buying and promoting their hardware will be a worthy return on investment in our small but growing Folding Team. 2010 Will be going out with a Huge push that will get us ever closer to that top 50 Spot.

Cheers

Can we have our nick (or the text under ouir nick's) name in color(colour) so the Folding guys are recognized by color(colour) green would be lovely

But so far this forum has had the best support in regards to Folding that i have ever seen, so no complains to be honest !

I know i've only been apart of the team for a few months now but you seem to have done alot with mushkin and even getting ccl to pair with us. not much else you can do that i can think of
blink.gif
i would say we could do a member of the month for it but if we go by points that would be steve everytime

LOL i have been thinking about that as well and thought the exact same
biggrin.gif

maybe we need to do it a bit different not through points but something else
smile.gif

BTW you can always start the thread if you want to ..

Kup is a fully fledged forum mod so he has the ability to do member of the month and sticky it ect ect.

The colour title thing is difficult tbh, much hard with IPB than Vbulletin forums.

We have got a 'badge' system we are working on, or I should say have been working on. Its only coding the hotlink to your folding stats in that needs to be integrated into the forums. Just havnt had time to commit to that lately.

dude haven't you done enough already?
biggrin.gif

but since you're asking, a couple of (carefully selected) playmates for each member would be ace! thanx!

That would be wonderful!

Seriously though Tom, this partnership has been wonderful. You've gone completely beyond the expectations I had for the merge. I'd say just keep doing what you are doing. Plug us when you can in reviews (or just folding in general) and most of us will be happy

. I sincerely appreciate the effort you have put in. A few of us came from a team that really didn't care, so it's great to see you and OC3D support us so well. Thanks again.

I might start folding again soon. I won't be bringing much in the way of PPD, and I don't leave my pc on all the time, but I can contribute a little bit so I'm sure it's worth it.

If I get an Nvidia GPU anytime soon that would obviously help!

As stated above you do loads already but what may be a good idea along side folder of the month and may give a bit more of a push is perhaps publicise Redline - OC3D as a news article every time a new winner is selected.

You could maybe offer an exclusive sticker or custom avatar to wear for the month that you are "it" like the GOLD OC3D.

That's very nice mate, every little bit helps

I would say keep it going as is, the F@H article would be nice but that will come when it is time.

We have made many new friends here @ OC3D and some of the new friends have made huge contributions to the team, and when we attract folders from other big teams something has to be going right
smile.gif

We Redliners are a tenacious, scrappy lot and we just keep going no matter what gets in the way, it is quite refreshing to be here with all the extra support and new friends.

That being said an i7 980 would be nice, just happen to have a spot available

ive been in the back ground for a little while it is great to see your folding team do so well it is relay starting to grow and move up the top 100 list.

you are doing so much for your team tom it amazing to see as other folding team do not do as much for the members. i think that the youtube videos should be a big hit as there has only been few people who have done video on folding before, i no the video that got me started folding was one from trubritar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtbfXg193do. the only problem being that there are no up to date tutorials or expectational videos.

one of the other ways that big teams have got alot of people to start folding is competitions i no that a team is doing one right now and the ppd has gone from 18k ppd to 1.6 million ppd ASUS REPUBLIC OF GAMERS http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=183368

but i don't think doing that keep people folding only way to keep them folding is with a great team folding forum witch you already have

Wow, that video is old. You don't need the dongles anymore to do multi GPU folding.

It has never been needed,

just need to know how to configure the multiple screen setup, wich can be a pain in the poo to be honest..
laugh.gif

\but YES its a very old video.........

yer i no it old that half the point
wink.gif
no one is/are doing up to date folding video
laugh.gif
was just saying that, that was the video that got me interested into folding and wanted to no more

I am planning on folding with a couple of nvidia GPU's. Do I have to SLI them or do they have to be connected up to monitors etc??

I'm very new to folding so haven't much of a clue.
