What Colour Fittings?

so i asked you guys a question on this thread↓↓↓↓↓

http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=65619

I like to know what you lot think, i'm going to order some new fittings from monsoon/bitspower (who ever is cheapest) so the question is white fittings with red angle fittings or red fittings with white angle fittings??

EDIT: and should i do something with the south bridge heatsink??

I personally would just pick one colour mate, your rig looks nice and clean so far, mixing the colour of the fittings will just make it look to busy, IMOH anyway. If your going with red fluid, I think that red fittings will look pretty cool mate.

cool thanks for your input :)

This thread needs more pictures! ATM it's like deciding between blue and blue.

White, Red and Black is not the same as Black, Red and White. It could be a clean touch, white and red are both bright screamy colours trying to grab attention without some black about the place to give contrast they don't have much effect. Black and Red FTW. =00=

the build log is in the link mate, hmm i'm not sure i don't like red and black builds but at the same time some of them can be really nice.

anyone can go out and buy red and black parts as everyone is selling them so people don't need as much imagination to build a rig with that theme...

I meant pics of the fittings. I think that it doesn't matter what the colour scheme is or the amount of imagination, some people are way too imaginative lol. But it's all in the execution and the detail and building up the right balance of colours and tones so they work together to make it stand out in the right ways.

I think there's plenty of white already to make it not a red and black build. Some nice black Bitspower fitings would give some contrast and make a clean look.

Actually looking at your build again, you've got black ram, so adding some more black will probaly look sweet, but if you go for Monsoon fittings you can get coloured end caps for the rotary fittings, maybe use red or white on them, I think red, if your going for red coolant, you already have a lot of white ont he motherboard.

hmmm i like the way you think mate :D

i was thinking of using LED plug is i went monsoon, i'm looking at bitspower and no liking the prices so far, i'll have to look for some 2nd hand stuff of the fleabay...

I no mate, the price of fittings is sky high, I'm in the middle of looking for the new 2 piece Bitspower Crystal link fittings in white, but it works out that I need about 30 ish, for the desired effect I'm going for, it works out at being around 800 Dollars, so about £480, it's not as if I can buy them a few at a time as I can't find the white in the Uk, only in the US, so with postage and Taxes it could be about £550 when all is said and done.

On top of that I need to GPU blocks, and back plates, another radiator, and fans plus just to keep things all new, a res and pump of some description, so for cooling alone with what I have, and what I need I'm looking at a grand probably. Well I was before I add3ed it all up.

The thing is though the Straight solid tube runs with Bitspower fittings just looks so sexy, I might have to go for the black, as I can get them in the UK, a few at a time.

ouch that's gotta hurt....

i might as well go hardline at this point..

I would use all white fittings or all black. It would be much cleaner disign imho. But if you want it i would use red fittings with white angled or black fitting with white angled fittings.
