What are you currently listening to

Thanks for your stereotypical opinion on metal music, haven't heard that all before.

I find it hilarious the same type of music is in both videos but just because one is a lyric video you don't say the same thing because you can read the lyrics and "understand" his vocals.

Tbh it's a fair comment of some metal music I like some of Slipknot but some of theirs it's very hard to hear or understand the vocals.

I'd disagree that you can't hear the words on these 2 you can but the 2nd is clearer and the backing musics has a better rhythm with the words on the 2nd, but my brother tells me the metal I like is pretend metal as you have eardrums left after listening to it :)

Metal makes me happy when I am angry. Same as heavy punk, it really helps me to get it out. Depends on the day and my mood though. Some days it is a little too much.

Massive fan of Rob Zombie. Got all his albums.

I find metals good to listen to if you've got things to do like house work and the like, I like classical or Glen miller if sitting down reading a book

It's for some music correct. Metal and metalcore however? Definitely not. That emo screamo crap with electronic music mixed in gives metal a bad name

The 2nd song is a better song overall. But the first one is definitely still a great song. It's a slower song sure but that doesn't mean it's no rythm, it's intended for dramatic headbanging lol
Both those bands Lamb of God and Parkway Drive are massive names in the metal scene, Parkway Drive is more than likely more known worldwide but LOG is still popular in the US.

I would argue that metalheads are generally angry people at times, and in those moods, they don't care about the words. That way, it's easy to pretend the lyrics are suited to your particular brand of rage. :D

Want to know what's funny? I had never heard of LOG until an American told me about them lol. And they're British. Mind you, I'd probably never heard of Bush either unless my ex wife was obsessed with them.

I'd argue that's another stereotype! Metal music has meaning behind it unlike the crap on radio today. That's what got me into metal tbh

But I would agree that emo metal stuff is definitely exactly as you described. The band called Capture the Crown is a perfect example of what the teens listen to. It's truly ear piercing.

They are also popular in EU after the singer fled Czech Rep for accidentally killing a guy :P
just kidding, they were always big here.

I like LoG. Like playing Redneck once in a while on my guitar.

When I was a stoner I ripped this to WAV and used to get stoned and listen to it over and over wetting myself with laughter.

It's still funny sans any cannabis, but man I used to laugh until I was crying when listening to it wasted.
