Well, damn...

I'll link the other post where I have pictures and stuff here (on OC3D Forums).

Short version is, my tubing is going from clear to a disgusting brown/green and I don't know why. The fluid is the same color, as is the res.

How long have you been using the same tubing for?

Brands for your coolant and tubing might also help if you know them.

My coolant is straight distilled with Primochill Liquid Utopia. My tubing is Mayhems "Ultra Clear" (3/8 x 5/8"). I've been using this tubing since around about January.

Edit: There is one run of the tubing that came with the H220-X

i use pknuke in the water to kill any unwanted growth..
Sounds a lot like you need to flush it all out replace tubing then either have a kill coil or pknuke the water.

not sure why the liquidutopia isnt working for you though..
I use 2 drops of pk nuke per 1L of de-ionised water (destilled is fine, but de-ionised is just slightly purer)

having looked at the pics.
im going to wager that you didnt flush out the rads before installing them.
and they were either contaminated during manufacture (usually the case) or they have had dye in them at some point..

I had a run of tubing go the same colour and it was just sat on the shelf in my shed, it had never been used. Can't remember the make though.

I flushed both rads. The 240 was actually in use before and had no discoloring effects. Never had dye in them. The fact that the fluid itself looks 100% normal leads me to believe that it is a problem with the tubing itself. Probably going to end up buying more, but from Primochill this time.
