It wasn't card performance. More the fact that the official drivers were clunky (.NET) and a bit unstable. Disappointing as the card itself is VERY fast. Nvidia drivers are much lighter and more stable

Yeah Loved my old 7800GTX512mb so I'm fairly confident I'll love this

Agreed, the Catalyst drivers are bloated and clunky. Unfortunately I guess it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, welcome back anyway

I'm about the same way except it went from ATI to Nvidia and never went back.
