That is another fine lookin Nvidia card. I love the big metal chunk rather than the ati plasticy lookin heatsink! Could we have a side on shot please??? :)

It wasn't card performance. More the fact that the official drivers were clunky (.NET) and a bit unstable. Disappointing as the card itself is VERY fast. Nvidia drivers are much lighter and more stable :)

Welcome to the 7900GTX club :) If there is such a thing. I know you will love it as I love mine.

Yeah Loved my old 7800GTX512mb so I'm fairly confident I'll love this :)

My card list grows longer (last year or so):

BFG 6800GT OC AGP

Club3d 6800GT (PCI-E)

Gigabyte 7800GTX 256

XFX 7800GTX 512mb

Sapphire X1900XTX 512mb

Club3d 7900GTX 512mb

Agreed, the Catalyst drivers are bloated and clunky. Unfortunately I guess it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, welcome back anyway :)

I'm about the same way except it went from ATI to Nvidia and never went back.

x800 something or other..sitting in a drawer atm

6600GT

6600 Ultra SLI

7800 GT SLI

7800 GTX

7900 GTX SLI

All of my Nvidia are eVGA cards. Never had a problem with them so no reason to leave imo.

No man, he's talking about the fact that there is no AGP 7800GT (well, maybe there is if you count the Gainward 7800GS <shrugs>). I do believe you meant 6800GT AGP ;)
