Weird coloured squares ?

I settled down for a blast on Titanfall, and after about 5 hours, I started to get weird squares of colour, at first it was it was just around the outer edge, and within seconds it was appearing all over.

I'm running a pair of 7950's @ 1100/ 1250 under water ( I tried stock after the problem started ) It happens overclocked or not, and with +fire enabled and not.

The temps were all fine they didn't go over 40, and the VRm temps hover around the 31 mark, so I can't see it being temp related, then again I have no clue.

I thought it might have been artifacting, but the vids I've looked at, loo nothing like that. Any ideas guys ? Pics are from Valley, it does when any game or graphical things are on the screen, It has started to happen when I open a program like GPUZ, around the outer box it almost looks like black, and yellow chefrons instead of a solid colour.

Ok try uninstalling your drivers in safe mode using DDU then try either the 13.12 or 14.1 and see if it still does it

I'd be tempted to say try a different power supply first. I noticed my gpu only started having similar porblems when I changed back to my cx 600m. 13.12 is a terrible driver (my gpu occasionally has this grey screen glitch for a second but was fine on 13.11)so I'd go back to 13.11 if I was you.

Cheers guys. It seems to be ok now, I left it alone for a few hours, and when I came back to it, it was back to normal.
I will go and change the drivers though just to be sure, also I'm going to figure out a way to mount a fan to blow directly onto the rear of the GPU's. The only thing that springs to mind is the vrm's which I had a problem with, with my first card that was rma'd, or the memory getting hot. Acording to GPUZ the vrm's stay around 30, so more than likely it is the memory.

A direct flow of cool air might do the job, if not rma time again.

I started getting similar on one of my 7950s when I updated to the 14.1 beta drivers. PPD is increased though so I can live with it lol.

Ive just finished another few hours of TF, all maxed out and it stayed as it should. I'm holding off on going back to the 14.1 drivers, I tried them on release, but after a few days went back to 13.12. I had a few niggles here and there.

I think it might have been better today/ tonight, because I'm sat here next to the window in a hoody and beanie, with the window open, and curtain pulled back, to let the cold air in.

It's cold for me, but my rig seems to like it, the cpu was only at 31, and the gpu's were at 33,/ 30. That was during a flat out gaming session.

Yea the memory is at stock, all I've done is set it up manually, to the rated specs. I don't see the point in OC'ing ram, if you want faster buy faster..

I was talking about the GPU memory haha, but yeah for system ram you should always buy faster memory than what you want because sometimes they won't run at those speeds..
