hi peeps

i would like to know what is involved in the benching that you guys do.

what are the prerequisites?

what software do i need?

do i need to sign up for anything?

what do i do?

are there any risks involved to my hardware?

i have 5 rigs at my disposal (soon to be 6)... i could be an asset to the team!!!

a guide would be a good idea and its something mentioned a couple of times but it really is an easy process.

sign up here and join overclock3d bench team.

submit scores here or in the sticky threads in this section. on the site filling in your system specs is easy as the hardware pops up as you type its name in.

the rules are pretty easy, all screen shots need is 2 cpuz windows (1cpu 1 mem tab) for the 2d tests and only 1 cpuz window (cpu) and 1 gpuz window for the 3d tests. you can have more open but they are not required. other rules apply for the top 20 wr too but thats not something we will need.

all the benchmarks used are on the right hand side of the hwbot site and if you click the name there you will find a link to download them, only use the versions found via the site as other versions dont have comparable scores and will void your results.

once you are set up and start to bench this thread is a good insight into the benching mindset as its not the same as conventinal thinking
