Offfft that pc is amazing, just look at the specs! Thats like a dream pc to me haha

And yet, 60% of the people who read the BBC news will be like "wtf is a X58 rampage II extreme" :p

It's great to see PC modding getting some general press interest. I bet there are quite a few people who are interested enough to be finding out more and maybe even tempted to give modding a go after seeing that article.

Well it didn't say 'insane man caught molesting computers'.

Nice one guys :D.

Done, and moved the posts from it over to this one.

It's a very good article.

People take note at the bottom:

Have you modified your PC? Send your pictures and videos using the form below:

Send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk, text them to 61124 or you have a large file you can upload here.

Flood it I say. Be sure ur OC3D desktop pics and stickers (if u got them *cough* Kemp *cough* ) are in view.

If the response is that good, there'd likely be some kind of follow-up.

Or a OC3D grill ;)

I'll think i'll email them my PC in my old case, as it was 10x neater and water cooled :p

haha sent, the old pics were uploaded somewhere else but have the "uploaded by overclock3d.net" at the bottom

I sent some pics in of one of my old rigs and got a phone call about 10 minutes later for permission to use them from the Beeb. Get the pics in quick! We need some good press coverage like this for this hobby!

Ahh u edited^:D

Recks you would be best mate. When they called, they just asked if the photos were mine (copyright) and if BBC could use them. Probs won't use any sent that they cant get hold of the owner to get permission.

Be a little careful as to how much obvious comercial representation may be in the shots u submit, as although the pic would be great, it'll be overlooked immediately.

I.E. holiday snaps with gratuitous Pepsi-Cola product placing.
