Watercooling not working need help!!!

looks like you need to whack a new pipe to replace it, but that means draining the system.

Go and look on youtube and you will probably be able to do this within 20mins of watching videos.

Ok, first off your mates 10-20 idle is not a good representation of what you should be getting. Ambient is about 20c, so expect 10c more than that at idle so 30c idle. Which yours is about. The 980x that your mate has is 32nm which is cooler running than your 975 45nm chip

.

Second that slight pinch in the pipe near the pump will NOT restrict flow of the loop that much. A water cooled system needs very low flow rate to work efficiently. 1-1.5LPM (litre per minute) IIRC. Your pump at 12v with that kink/pinch in the pipe will easily achieve that.

EDIT: graph to explain:

I would see if your pump is running straight of the psu molex connector, if it is then it is running @ 12v. There should be a blue cable from the pump that this a RPM sensor cable, plug that into an appropriate fan header on the mobo, and use speedfan or everest to read pump RPM speed.

And remember all chips are different, yours may be a hot chip.

Thanks cl0ck_ed i will have a look in the morning and get back to you as soon as i can, i will also take pictures just incase i need help haha :/ XD

Also what will the name be in speedfan?
