What's a good case for Watercooling 2 580's and a cpu, would one witha 360 rad be sufficient or would I need one with capabilities for a 480 rad, if so which case could you's recommend which also has a nice window on the side or the option to buy a windowed side panel.

Thanks

errr no, single 360 would just about do for 2 blocks, xigmatek elysium is considered the best but i would say 700D becuase it can be modded without too much trouble to fit a 240 + 360 + 140mm rad all 60mm+ ability to run push pull but its your choice i would say either:

xigmatek elysium

corsair 700D

something else really big

The 700D is my choice because the price is decent and the space is very good but there's no window and I can't seem to find anywhere in the UK that sells the 700/800D windowed side panel.

you can get one of corsair mate, i got mine for £0 yep £0

If I had known all this I would have chosen the 700D over the Colossus lol.

Least I know what case I'll choose when I go to watercooling, just need to decide if I'll sell my 580 lightning and get a reference one or just wait till the 6xx series, and how did you get one for £0

Lian Li PC-A77F. 280mm for the cpu at the top, 360mm mounted in the 5.25 bays for the 2 580s. You can always buy or mod the top to fit a 360/420mm. If you are not using any 5.25 bays, you can fit a 480mm in the front.

Dont give them such a hard time, its an aluminium case and it is older....like back in the day older. Thermaltake came up the ranks as case builders and this is more premiunm than their SECC stuff.

That case is fugly and not all ally cases are good, e.g. nzxt phantom

man y'all need to understand everyone has an opinion and we need to respect it not bash at each other this post is asking for recommendations and opinions please post such and leave others to do the same.

yeah i know but just saying

a). its thermal tacky

B ). not painted on the inside or the back

c). psu goes in top

And what part of the NZXT Phantom is aluminium? If you ever see a Thermaltake Kandalf in person your opinion will definitely change, this I can gaurantee.

I really don't need to get into an argument with a 14 year old, my case suggestion was aimed at MattBee2k2.

A) It's Thermaltake when they made good stuffs...

B ) Not painted is a good thing, this gives you a blank canvas and opens up the possibilities for more personalised build.

C) PSU is at the top.... Above the rear extraction fan so it isnt a problem. In fact cables will reach better this way.

So really your arguments are moot. and you should really think about what you are going to say before you say it.

Lmao psu may reach better but think about the cable mess

Blank canvas a lot of people don't want to paint a computer case.... Granted it may be decent build quality but for it's price you can get better

Ease up ruthless_villain. Critical Is simply pointing out another option for MattBee2k2's request.

The case was made for water cooling.

The PSU at the top dose not make any difference, the cable mess goes behind the mobo tray any way like in any case.

And some people do want a blank canvas and why argue about it when it is MattBee2k2's choice any way, It was simply another option for water cooling and what this topic is about.

Also the Arc could be a good choice to.
