Hello

Sinse my project "the gentleman" has been stalled, i need to buy a temporary case.
right now i'm running my pc right of a table :p

I'm thinking of the fractal design r3, and is there (with some modding) posible to fit a 360 rad in the roof?

my motherboard is the sabertooth x79, and i'm thinking of getting the koolance bloks for it.

Will a 360 rad fit? or do i have to go for the XL instead.

I've allso thougt about the posibility to rotate the motherboardtray, so the graphicscard goes at the top, to make more place for a rad, or is this imposible to do?

thanks for answars, and as always sorry for my crappy english :P

Not internally. There is very little room between the top panel and the motherboard. Just enough for fans.

okay, If you removed the optical bays and positioned the rad right you may be able to get a 360 in the roof. similar to the Arc case where the top fan mounts are positioned off to the side and not centered.

Rotating the motherboard would not get you in any better position. There is just not enough room in this case.

You would be better off getting an Arc Midi instead.

OK thanks for the asweres,

Then i think the lian li PC-A71F or the fractal design xl is a bether chouise?

Just been looking around at randum stuff when i found this

whitch i thought look like a good ide!
well if you use a single or a couple SSDs then it will be fine, but if you have hard drives they are quite bulky and it may be hard to find a place for them + that loop is really quite messy and you will need to be comfortable with a drill so you can drill out the rivets

I'm only running ssd's so i dont bother space for harddrives ;)
Will be building a nas/homeserver soon, to store all my stuff on :p
