water loop question?

im attempting to get some info set for an upcoming build for myself.

case:

Lian Li Classic Series PC-A71F

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9...ries_PC-A71F_Black_Full_Tower_Case.html#blank

Motherboard:

gigabyte GA-P67A-UD7-B3 (should be out in the us soon)

CPU

intel 2600K

Gpu

2x 580gtx palit 3gb

the rest isnt important. im looking to do this for water cooling i need opinions .

locate psu in top location.

cool the board and cpu on 1 loop witha 120mm rad in the rear and a 140mm on top.both black ice series by hw labs.

Place a triple 140mm black ice rad in the bottom and a single 140 in the from in the same loop to cool both graphics cards , leaving enough cooling for a 3rd if ever needed.

blocks all EK

all noiseblocker fans

what i need to know is that enough cooling? or overkill? what pumps i should use, im looking for a quality quiet pump. Also im unsure if i should make another thread but i need to locate a modder to help mount rads other then that im fine.

wc isnt my forte but i dont think 1 120 rad will keep that cpu/board cool if your planing to oc it (and why buy the k if your not right

heres a crude drawling of what i had in mind.. thoughts?

Sugguestions for a quiet powerful pair of pumps?

and opps the picture is wrong the rear rad is 120mm

Right all those rads and loops ect isnt going to work mate.

Straight answer. Look at a different case to start with.

You will 100% be needing to mod it if you want to seperate good looking loops.

If you h=are happy with spagetti junction and a complete mess then Im deffo not the bloke to advise you

That 3x140 RAD is essential but I don't think you need another 3 individual 140's. Maybe keep one for the CPU and consider the 3x140 for the GPU's, else it's gonna be messy as I'm sure you've foreseen.

^1000w 100% NON modular psu in a strom sniper as you can see im good at keeping things tidey, i wish i could find some pix of mine from prior water cool builds

.

Non the less what case would you recommed and what rads?

same case alot more modding would be done . Single loop Dual triple 140 mm radiators. front hdds bays removed. Modding all 5.25 bays removing all except 1. Moving psu to top location (easy). Using top rear hdd modding it for bottom rear under motherboard. 1 triple 140mm rad bottom 1 triple 140mm rad front. Tube style Res. All Noiseblocker fans .Pk3 140mms and a ,black silent 120mm in the rear. Positive air pressure.Loop looks a messier then it would in real life as its not 3d and is just kinda all on top of itself .My only real concern about the cooling is the cpu doesn't come first in the loop. Thoughts?

Also Which pump should i use?

edit will find a way to intergate a fan controller as well.

This is a bit too much for a single pump(3x140rad x2, 3xgpu,cpu, mobo NB,SB). If you get a d5 it’s going to struggle long loop, too much resistance. I’d get a dual top and two d5 or split the whole loop into two which would even more improve temps.

This is a dual top(fpr your pump) single loop, or dual..

Can’t say anything about it, but considering the d5 has 1500l/h and this only 900l/h but again not everything is in water flow. Surely its going to be more noisy,…

Right dude, can you mod (well) if the answer is no go and take a look at the Lian Li A77.

Post back what you think.

Im fairly confident i can mod a case to fit two radiators if needed. Im just wondering if the cooling solution i came to mind would be adequate? If not for the case you listed. Im unsure of what options id have. Im attempting to stick to 140mm Based fan solutions to keep noise down but still remaining with good airflow. So id have to remove all 5.25 bays except one being a 140m,m rad is wider then a 5.25 bay. fair enough to do however, thatd leave me with a triple 140mm rad in the front. This from what i can understand is not enough to cool just the gpus? or am i mistaken? Saying its enough i could put a dual 140 on top seeing it as it looks like it has enough height to do a push system to cool the cpu /mb. Hmm as i was typing this i think i could more then likely fit a dual 140 on the bottom and combine it with the triple 140 in the front .Saying i used the lian li psu extender to give me alittle more space to work with. This just to cool the gpus and use the top rad just to cool the cpu /mb. Saying all this id imagine i could keep the fans at a relatively low rpm keeping noise leaves down. However i would have no room for my storage drive. I only need one as i dont need mass storage, however i would have no clue were to put it at his point. Also im still unsure i could actually have enough height to fit a radiator in the top period of anything other then a slim radiator. So not that im knocking the case Im just unsure of what your ideas for it would be? Can you go alittle more indepth?

Can someone tell me how big a radiator i would need just to cool the gpus? Please a real answer not just as many and as big as possible answer lol.

edit im hearing a triple 140mm rad will be just fine for JUST gpus.... any truth to this?

hey guys came up with a second idea for another case all together... ill post exactly what i mean a bit later today. as its 8am were i live. However it basically says a 560 rad (quad 140) for gpus and a 280 (dual 140 ) for cpu
