Water loop BROKE!!!!!!

My resevoir just came apart as i drained my loop :S Wierd as.. I was just unscrewing the top by hand, and bam, off comes the whole top end.

So lets cut to the chase, i cant be bothered to repair it, and tbh my whole loop could do with being replaced so i have £200 for the whole lot. Just wondering if any of you guys could give me a hand in this time of crisis :)

I cant live without my pc.. So i need to get the parts ordered by monday, i can order from anywhere.. Aqua-pc's would be good as i have their forum section for help.

Im looking to cool the CPU only... And i need a CPU Block, pump and resevoir. I have a 360mm rad that i got in 'box 3' in aqua pc's mystery box sale.. Though i could stretch to a thermochill if the rest can be found for under £150. Preferably half inch tubing, i will need connectors too but i can find them :)

Clear 1/2" tubing

DDC pump (pick one with a decent top)

D-Tek Fuzion with Nozzle

The free RAD

Jubilee clips

XSPC 5.25" Bay res

If you need a GPU block, get that sexy new modular D-Tek one :D

That should do you :)

Lol thanks. One problem is the rad is 360mm which makes it a little hard to install. My case isnt all that big. I have my current 240mm on the back, which fits perfectly. So, i was wondering how i could get the 360mm one on somewhere.. Maybe if i bought those raise off things.. To attach to my case raising the rad off the back, which would mean it could clear the PSU switch and cable.

Which shop would u use kemp? best prices.

Yeh might just keep it tbh. :)

Is this a good DDC?

And on watercooling uk, the D-tek is out of stock.. (N), and i dont think aqua stock it. hmm..

And on a side note, which colour uv liquid should i get?

Okay, cool. Well i think ill keep the rad i have, i dont think ide see enough of an improvement to justify another £50 on the thermochil.. I might give the 360 a whirl see how well it fits.

Its comes to £139 which isnt bad at all.

The pump DDC

The Res XSPC

The EK Supreme

Then add feser 1 black, and XSPC clear 1/2" tubing, jubilee clips, and a couple of extra 1/4" to 1/2" fittings for my Rad.

Does that list look okay?

I'm not Kemp but would say Aqua is always good with free delivery as is WCUK with the added bonus of 10% off orders over £100 I think... Depends on what you want.. which service you prefer and if each have what you want in stock as your wanting this urgently.

Just my thoughts though :)

My case isnt all that big, so the drive bays are full of wires. Would i still be best off getting a drive bay res and routing the cables a different way? or another external as i used before. The options are, another case from my bank account or going to leeds festival lol...

Is there much difference between the d-tek fuzion the ek supreme/?

List:

From aqua pc's. It actaully comes to £147 because i need extra feser.

hey, sorry about all these questions.. is the pump top i picked any good?

Yep, tbh there's very little difference between most of the top-end ones. The EK looks/feels more robust than the OCLabs one I've got

Managed to find my stock cooler, temps are like.. 43c idle. lol.. (N).. Ill get all the new stuff ordered one monday. Should have my loop all done by next weekend.

Thanks for your help guys. Still yet to decide which colour to go with. Im thinking black but not 100% sure yet :) What do you guys think? my case fans are blue.

Lol, i was justing thinking i may do something similar to PV's AQuas rig and internally mount a 150mm tube res.. Would look pretty cool and would be much more practical for me.

I would install the res as shown on the diargam. My paint skills.

Pump -> Rad -> CPU -> Res -> Pump

okay, it will look like that. but with the resevoir vertical instead slightly the right above the RAM slots. I have measured it up and it looks like it'll fit. Might make a project log out of this.

ALong the lines of this:

My girlfriend Kim just looked at that, she said about those 2 pics above "That doesnt look very good" thinking they were real setups. :rollingla

I had to share that, it made me chuckle

LMFAO!!! looking good, i think ill be passing on this type of system then. Whats next? the invisible loop? ;)
