Water for watercooling

You still need aditives in distilled. Or dionised.

Never needed them with distilled, ran fine, no deposits, algae or corrosion on the blocks on the 2 years of 24/7 use of that machine, the motherboard was the first to fail. must be luck of the draw

Pemixes are oky for leaning and for ease of use, there are several type of pre-mixed fluid ranging from Vegetable extract, Glycols, and nano fluids.

Main makers of fluids = fesser , primochill, they use glycols. they do work but some people have had problems with them. All though considering the amount they sell they are few and far between.

Next you have vegetable extract , mayhems pre-mixed fluids, Themrochill Ec 1 - these are both UK based companies and both use the same mixture how ever in different amounts and one uses Ultra Pure H20 as a base mix the other uses a lesser brand of water. The formula is based in eco friendly none destructive mediums that work well with in systems. (as far as i know neither have had any complains about these fluids)

Then you have nano fluids such as Ice dragon, and several other's how ever its still very early days in the nano fluid market and you normally pay a premium if you would like there.

Then there are - Distilled, filtered liquids such as Ultra Pure H20 (mayhems), were its water that is a pure as you can get. This is cheap and inexpensive and doesn't really require any additives. Perfect for water cooling.

The only maker of fluids that are "REALY" non-conductive is M3 and they produce a full range of fluids how ever unless your ready to part with £120 a Ltr this may be out of your price range.

I cannot recommend and single brand per say but they do work and can be a quick alternative. How ever If you after cheap and cheerful Battery Top-Up Water will do .... All though i do recommend you take a walk down your local car dealer ship instead and go pick up some from there instead as the halfords brand is not the best and is not filtered properly. For DI water is supposed to be 0.00 TDS and a min of 5Us were as the halfords branded DI water ive tested in the past is at 150 TDS and 8Us this tell's me they are skimping on the DI filters and not chaining them regularly.
