water cooling upgrade

Ok so I have my 932 case with a RX360 in the roof. Cooling cpu only atm. I'm going to be getting a EK FC570GTX SE waterblock for my GTX570HD. I am also replacing the XSPC rez/pump with a Laing D5 and getting the Danger Den Monsoon D5 rez. Which allows pump to be directly attached to the rez externally for better performance (takes off the D5's normal outputs which are known to be restrictive) it also allows for dual loop from 1 rez and pump. Skinnee labs has tested it and proven its viable. Ok so heres the question I'd like other thought on. With the sale of the monsoon comes 2x 120mm rads first up is a Black Ice Extreme 120mm and a EK Coolstream XT 120. My plans are to keep the cpu on the 360 for one loop and put the 570HD on the BIE 120 for a second loop. As I really have no place to mount a 240mm rad which is what I really want to use for the 570GTX. The loops will be using 7/16 ID tubing on 1/2 barbs.

So What are your thoughts on the matter at hand???

links to products I'll have on hand.

Black Ice Extreme

EK Coolstream

Monsoon D5

GTX570HD Block

Looks like the best you can do is go with what you said given the space you have in your case.

Other than that though the only other thing you could do is mount a 240mm rad externally.

yeah my thoughts exactly. I'm hoping the fluid co mingling in the rz helps the 120mm for the gpu. Since all the fluid goes back to the same source. Will have to give it a go for sure and see whats what. The good thing is the rad is a thick one so that should help as well.

they have medicine for that mate

This is a concept that you could go with. Have been wanting to see it. WHY dont you get another 360? Or a 240 and mount it right under your 360 inside the case? It could be done and i have seen it, was about a year ago and cant find the thread. Would have to be a skinnier one as i dont know how much room you have on top before your mobo comes into play... Although a bit weird and i dont know if it would really work...

Or just make one loop and use the 360 with the 120 rad you want.

or you can take the loop after it has come from your 360 into your cpu block and take the exit hose and rout it strait into the 140 to cool off a bit and run it through your 570 then out to the rez. That would be a crazy one loop, but i dont know if it would be viable... But deff cool to see xD

(res>pump>360rad>cpu block>120rad>570>repeat)

Just some silly ideas that i love to shoot out. Maybe you can use one as a spring board and get some ideas cookin

Other than that thats just about all you can do without going crazy and hacking away at your case...

Actually bro I was considering the rez/pump 360 cpu 120 gpu back to rez/pump with the current XSPC750 pump. But with this new rez and pump with it having dual in and out and testing shows a lower GHP loss with dual loop on it. I decided the route I'm planning. But interesting concept with dual 360's lol if I had a RS 360 to start with I could possibly add another 360 up there. but would prolly have to have fans from hell to get air thru them lol The rear of my case has a 140mm fan and i wish I had a good 140mm rad to put there lol that would be better no doubt than a 120mm I may sell the 2 120's and get a 140 lol. But first I'm going to try the thickest of the 2 120mm's and see how it plays out.
