Hey all,

I am planning on a build that is in-line with the Gigabyte p67ud7 motherboard (gotta love gold and black). With that being said before I pull the trigger can you all please take a look and see what you think? Thanks for the help all!

CPU BLOCK FOR i7 2600K: GOLD! or would the nickel be better (color would go good with build)

GPU BLOCK FOR ZOTAC GTX 570: 570 Block

PUMP: DD CPX-Pro

RES: EK Dual Res Will look into getting a black spinner

RAD: EK 360

TUBEING: 3/8 ID and 1/2 OD or 1/2 ID 3/4 OD not really sure

BLACK 45 DEGREE COMPRESS: Based on tubing size but looking at this in general

BLACK NORM COMPRESS: Based on tubing size but looking at this in general

FLUID: GOLD!

Love the idea, I assume you're going to add UV lights to glowing tubes?

Also maybe consider a black (or gold) backplate for the GPU?

Exactly..actually ordered the black back plate...was either that or the lights/glow tubes before I exceded my overall build budget so went with the plate instead...lights I can deal with later. Thanks for the input though...never thought about the back plate till you said something!

Is the Gold EK Supreme HF CPU block compatible with the new i5 2500K CPU?

I love the theme you are going for. Those Bitpower compression fittings are awesome

In fact both the Nickel and the gold will suit the configuration.

Hmm those two fittings seems to be of different sizes? The Rotary Compression fitting is 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD whereas the 45-Degree Rotary Compression fitting is ID 3/8" OD 5/8" ? I am a noob at this so If this is wrong then its most probably me and not you

yea I was kinda in a rush...made sure all the stuff was ordered with same sizes. Everything showed up here...just trying to burn in the sys on air first. Plan on the WC upcoming weekend.

Please let me know how things go, since I have just purchased a similar order

Ok got the GPU all set. Did a leak test with everything the night prior. Good thing I did...about 3 hrs into the test found out I had a leaky RAD (accidently put a screw in too far...sigh) and the front of the EK res was leaking (several small continious drops) thru the acrylic (spelling?) SO now waiting on replacement of the two. In the mean while here are some pics of the GPU all set up. How too vids for taking out the screws on the stock GPU showed alot of time compression (speeding up)...now I know why...what a pain!

Oh I had orginally ordered a black back plate but they were out so they upgraded me to the nickel one...looks good though

ok build is done...made a post in the Rig gallery but waiting on admin go ahead i guess...accidently posted 2twice...first one was mistake with only one pic...opps)

here is a quick pic though

Thanks!

Yea I wanted to and ran out of dye...I just don't want to over do it. Early on it was a little lighter...kinda looked like beer. I thought the color matched the cpu block well...but yea does kinda look like apple juice! lol.

I love the unique colour theme

Looking really nice

The colour does look like a apple juice but I like apple juice

So did you go with the 3/8 ID tubing or are those 1/2 ID by 3/4 OD?

Thanks!

3/8 ID tubing on 1/2' barbs kinda a chore to get them on. Reccomend you put everything in, measure and cut tube, take components out besides MB if you wantand put tube on outside casse. I was working some awackward angles and my big ol' fat fingers made it a challenge.
