Water Block For Gigabyte 660Ti

Thinking about running a custom loop for my rig but am not sure if I can get a waterblock for my gigabyte 660Ti. I have heard that the 670 waterblock is interchangeable with the 660Ti but don't know how accurate that is? Any idea mates...

the GTX670 block is interchangeable, does your have the dual or triple fan installed?
dual will use the GTX670 block, the triple is a non-reference PCB and you will find
less support for a water block. you used to be able to use the GTX680, but not in
this case..

Ok, good to know thank you, I think I like the Heatkiller block or the XSPC block but for the XSPC block can I change the colour of the light? Also in regards to the backing plate can I mix and match them or do they have to be the same? Thanks Mate :)

it comes with blue LED, but yes you can order different LEDs for your choice.
they pair up well with the CPU Raystorm block.. heaven!

watercool does a fabulous water block, but on the smallish PCB GPU, they tend
to apply monster pressure on the PCIe socket. I've got the GTX670 3.0 and this
weighs monster tons, vs the XSPC razor.

I like the Raystorm aswell but the Apogee by Swiftech looks good to, I think if I get the Heatkiller I"ll go with the Apogee and if I get the XSPC, I'll go with the Raystorm. I want to run UV coolant so I don't think it is important for me to have the CPU & GPU block light up, I think maybe the chrome look would suit a UV set up better...what do you think?

i have never used UV, so i wouldn't be one to ask.

i am looking to "dial" down the LED brightness for the Raystorm blocks to blend
with the dominator platinum RAM. and use soft LED lighting for case lighting.

i do have the watercool HK stuff, but too much "shine".

Ya that's right I think the XSPC stuff looks better then anything in a dark case but for me I like the chromed out look with some...would it be copper or brass. Either way thanks for the info it will be awhile before I water cool the whole thing but it's good to know before hand what will work and what will not.
