Wanting to Upgrade - Advice Needed!

Hello all,

First off would like to say I hope you all had a blinding Christmas here @ Overclock3d.net, pukka website.

I am wanting to upgrade my rig, I have at the minute around £600 to spend but am willing to put back my upgrade urges for another 2 or 3 months and have even more dough to play with if peeps here recommend me to.

My current specs are

Q6600 @ 3.2GHz b3 Rev with Tuniq Tower

Gigabyte EP45 UD3LR

XFX HD5770 also have a GTX280 (which doesnt like my mobo :/ )

4GB GeIL BD

Corsair TX750

XFI Xtreme Music

Samsung 226CW

Samsung F3 1TB

Windows 7 x64

Just wanting some upgrade advice and maybe some advice on whether or not i should wait for SB

Well Tom has the low-down on Sandy Bridge but he can't spill anything yet due to NDAs so you should wait a week or so.

If you want to jump up to hexcore then you'll need a new motherboard, new RAM and a obviously a new processor which might blow out your £600.

Wait and see.

Cheers chaps appreciate the info, I will wait for SB and save up a bit more, maybe my money will go further.
