Vista Ultimate + Office 2007!

Yeah the second I installed Vista I knew it was a winner and I still stand by that statement. I believe it's by far the best Windows OS since its inception. I'm gonna load it up as my permanent OS tonight mefinks.

U come across anything of any note that doesn`t work on visa but does on xp ?

Nope, I've found that everything works fine, just sexier. Except that I think it lacks OpenGL which really sucks.

Haven`t been an OpenGL tampering nut since win98, but back then u could download it independantly to u`r OS and install it, ala the original Unreal or whatever it was. (flying around and through castle keep effort intro test thingy)

It *should* have openGL, it was just the RC's and Betas which didn't have it .

This should be an interesting read to u if u`r OpenGL `concerned`. I myself lost interest after page 1, as is my attention span for such things atm, but they did start waffling about the d3d imparing OpenGL by as much as 50%, but who knows if u read it properly it may`ve turned out rosey in the end.
