Vista PC issues when Locked

Hi all

This is bugging me now.

I lock my work PC at the end of every day like a good young man.

I do need to be able to access my PC from home at any time to do some work.

I use Logmein as its so darn simple and just works, it's a tad easier than setting up the VPN to a work server then remote desktop.

Well it has been working fine but the work PC keeps coming up as offline now in Logmein.

When i get in in the morning and unloack the little blighter it has disconnected from the network and hence logged things like MSN and Logmein off.

Any ideas as to what i may have done to cause this.

check that "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is not ticked under the network adapter propertys

network and sharing center > manage network connections > right click propertys > configure > power management tab

i'll test it out when i get in.

next mission...... set up boot from lan/wan so i can turn on the pc from work........................................................................................
