Vista PC Build. Help Needed.

Hey all, this is my first time ever building my own pc and I don't know all that much about setting it all up. I'm already getting all the hardware I need, and I'm 100% they'll all work together. My main concern is with the whole booting it up for the first time to set all the stuff up like my hd and installing vista. Is it true I need a floppy drive and get a bootable disk for me to get like SATA drives set up? I'm kinda confused with a bunch of things. So does anyone know where I can find all the info I need to get my pc up n runnin? Or is there anyone here willing to take me through it step by step? Thanks in advance for any help.

just set cd as primary boot deviec in the bios and stick the cd in the drive and follow instructions
