i've got vista on 2 moniters now, from my 8600Gt, and its great, i can do 2 things on full screen at once, and i really like it :)

however, i'd just like to know, is there a way to have 2 different wallpapers on the 2 moniters

cos one is 1280x1024 (moniter 2)

and the other is

1440x900 (moniter one)

and it stretches the wallpaper i use, to the right proportions for moniter 2, then displays the same image, in 1440x900 on moniter 2, and the sides are cut off, and there are black beams at the top and bottom of it, and tbh it doesnt look any good

any ideas anyone? :)

i cant find the option...

i have managed to fix the 60Hz issue i was having

by changing both moniters to 75, not just one

but i cannot get a different desktop wallpaper on each yet :S

help?

a work around (if both monitors are the same size) might be to open your background pic in image editing software and double it, so there are two next to each other. When stretched, it would create the illusion of two desktops. would also stop the stretching.

wow, thats an awsome program!

works perfectly on vista :D

many thanks for that

shame its only a trial and it'll run out :(
