Well their team name is CrossfireX soo... yeah.

Quad-SLI 9800GX2 is, basically, an Eight-Way-SLI, which should be impossible to do right now, afaik.

Anyone tried it? I think the NVIDIA drivers only support 4-way SLI.

If somebody knows more, please correct me.

Depends a whole heap on what clocks the card was running and knowing it was liquis cooled Id bet alot of money it was most likley liquid chilled with a ton of volt mods on it to up the clocks as far as possible.

The reason is quite simple, no one has submitted a result with that setup.

If you check out Hwbot.org the top 3Dmark score is the one shown on virtual mark. There are no results yet for 9800GX2 in SLI so I guess that's cos the drivers aren't up to it yet.

The top scoring single card is a 9800GX2.
