... shimmy down to the unsupported feature section (chapter 2: page 12: and onwards). Lots of niceities I for one used to enjoy in XP are being/have been discontinued for Vista, apparently with no future of re-implementation.
There are of course ways to go around this. ATI users apparently can use some Theatre mode in some drivers and staunch nVidia fans can use pre-Vista drivers, or drivers b4 a certain rev. U can also start use nVidia`s Multiview mode and drag whatever player u use over to the TV and doubleclick it to fill the screen. U can of course keep XP in u`r TV outputing pc.

Word on the grapevine is that this has been discontinued due to some DRM related inbuilt thingy in Vista. nVidia do-not plan to work around it so it seems, and the pdf says.
But if u can drag the likes of media-player over to the TV and get the same thing .... what is this no-mirroring thing stopping u doing ? Apart from being a pita for the sake of it ?
I can recall a few members talking about not being able to promote to TV and similar. I kinda scratched my head as to why it didn`t work. Now I know why. It aint an `issue` - it`s been actively removed.
