VERY budget gaming pc - 400 euros +-

I have a mate that needs a very very budget oriented gaming pc as he is out of cash....

After snooping around then I would think at this budget then the most reasonable build would be a APU - AMD A10-7850K and use the on board graphics.

To make it small and compact then mini itx it is and here is the build what I have come up with:

https://www.pccomponentes.com/core/client/showList/id/526692/hash/smsTuyYW

These are the parts that are cheap but not bad quality for the price. I chose the AIO as the clearance of the CPU to the bottom of the PSU is very small.
PSU choice as it is modular (to keep cable clutter to the minimum) and its 80+ Bronze

What are your thoughts? Would this build be the best for some light gaming at this price point?? And NO - I can NOT increment the budget - this is what I have to work with.

Help?

*edit* I see that I forgot a HD - would probably go with a Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB for 46.95 euros

*2 Edit* The Build so far and now deciding where to go with : http://www.pccomponentes.com/core/client/showList/id/529925/hash/YbE9aZw8 + depending on cpu and mobo

Mate, don't get the APU. Instead buy the Athlon 860K and the R7 250. Together they are the same price as the APU but utterly thrash it in gaming tests.

Here is the official OC3D Review here.

TBH I'd go for a Athlon 860K, lower the ram to 1866MHz, change the AIO out for an low profile air cooler (TBH the stock cooler is fairly quiet) and then bump the GPU to something above the R7 250 used in the review.

Tbh, for the price list you put up you might as well go:

450euro_zps506d84a9.png

Can easily add an aftermarket CPU cooler later, as wel as SSD storage. Also plays all recent titles, most on med-high settings.

Yeah, I see that the A10 APU is not the best way to go - cheers for the help guys!

*Edit* Only question is about the graphics card...... what would be best? The Sapphire R7 250 2GB DDR3 is at a nice price but its DDR3.....

Then from there it would be between the MSI GeForce GTX750 OC 2GB OR the Sapphire R7 260X OC 2GB...?

the 750Ti will perform better than the r7 260X and consume less power and likely overclock more.

Got a recent offer to get a i5 3570k and a Asus' P8Z77-I Deluxe Mini-ITX for 200 euros total - and i get a 60 GB SSD for free thrown in as well. How about that deal??? ;)

Take that offer asap. Though ONLY put the OS on that ssd. Not much else will fit on it unless you have a bigger size ssd already. I would only use the 60GB if you have no other option.

yes, I was thinking of using the SSD for only the OS, but even so - is 60 gb enough space for even that? It seems very small to me. I would get a HD for all the rest.

Ya w7/8 take up about 30GB with 8GB of ram installed. Though you can remove a lot of space it takes about by doing some tweaks to the OS. I got mine down to about 18GB.

I don't know about that. You are moving way back to older generation products and honestly 60GB of SSD is NOTHING (if those components are used then you shouldn't even bother thinking about it, you can't possibly know how far the chip was pushed)

3570k isn't old at all. Nothing has really changed. I'm sure he's smart enough to have asked how hard the chip was pushed. 60GB isn't ideal at all no. But he's on a budget and got it free. Besides its OS only. Long as he doesn't write to it like crazy and tweaks the OS it to prevent excessive writing it should be fine.

i5 + mobo + 60gb ssd for $200 is an amazing deal dude, I would take that even though I already have a rig. Sounds like the basis for a very workable gamer
