All this to service a demand that doesn't exist, to try to make profit off of companies that will never be profitable. We're living in the dumbest timeline.

It's a shame everything is affected. Automotive, appliances, etc don't need the latest memory types that the shortage is caused by, but the supply chain for the materials needed to create them is still being strangled.
It's beyond dumb how much the conglomerates are ruining the global economy. This should be a wakeup call for governments to step in(lol I'll keep dreaming). The only demand for these "products" is made up by other corporations. They must all be in cahoots to the big picture behind the scenes (conspiracy talking).

There's no big picture. The world is run by greedy imbeciles. They're investing money into companies that will never be able to turn a profit. A company that can't even make a profit can't pay back its loan. The only inevitable scenario is bubble finally bursting sooner than later. Even fake money isn't infinite if you're consistently not making any profit. And profit is all these psychopaths really care about.
