Consumers will stop buying and nobody will care.

Governments won't care as they get lobbied to look the other way.

Nvidia is to big if one small change they do can bring the global market to the breaking point.

In short time new car prices will rise. It will cause lower demand and higher demand for used cars. Which will have high demand low supply fairly quickly, which snowballs on and on.

Nvidia are essentially restarting the covid market. Insane "chip" prices and it'll snowball into other areas.

Basically. But AI is bigger than the COVID demand and Crypto. Its a nightmare for regular people.

I helped my mum get a new laptop the other week. The price of that laptop is already up £90 from £450.

I was going to pull the trigger on a 9060xt 16GB but it's already gone up $40-60 in the US. I'll stick with my 3070ti for now.
That sucks. I hate seeing PC gaming becoming more out of reach because of industry greed. Be it crypto, AI, or whatever's shooting prices up at that time, it's all greed.

Shame on the big memory companies for not doing anything to prepare for this. They benefit most from the shortage, and definitely saw things coming from a mile away.
