Was just reading up about this new technology that Asetek is implementing and wondering how well it actually stacks up to a high performance HSF....

Anyone have more details on this product?

I don't know what new Intels operate safely at but it looks like this product is a mad dud! 63*c at 90w load? wtf... That's horrible if you ask me.

Surely not...the stock Intel heatsink performs better than that with the Prescott's 100w+ load.

I reckon they got it wrong! Either that or its in Farhenheit!!

Maybe our motherboards/other temp sensors are lying to us a LOT!

Yeah that's what I figured... I think kempez is right though, they probably misprinted something because they're not going to go and advertise that horrendous piece of shit if in fact it doesn't work with a fuck.

The trouble is...with my XP-120 on the way I won't see it as viable to get one....maybe I'll wait to see extensive results then think about it.

And NO Frag - I'm not gonna send the XP-120 back, get one and tell you if it works!! lol

intles ref desgin coolers can usually go to round 55 wit a prescott;

that thing must b a typo or mayb it sucks w/o a compressor

If i could actually get on their site from Frags link, i'd take a butchers at it and see what all the fuss was about.

As far as reviews go, only the mods are able to perform them under the SysXtreme name.

The main reason for this, is that i dont want to catch the flack if a non-moderator requests one for the forum to review, and then breaks it.
