V-RAM - Life expectancy

Hey guys,

I'm planning on getting two GTX 780 Ti's 3GB - EVGA Classifieds (When they are released).

They will obviously both have 3GB of V-RAM each. I play all of my games @ 1080p. I would like to get roughly 120fps on average (or more) to support my 144hz monitor. I am getting two cards because they will both will save me for maybe future monitor upgrade's and I do currently run triple monitors (So please don't ask me why I want 2 ). The next series of Nvidia cards are quite a way away now so I want to get the best I can afford now to last me until the 900 series.

- How long do you think these two cards will last me? (Re-guarding games and maybe higher resolution monitors).
- And do you think I will survive until the 900 Series?

Cheers

2 years, probably. maybe less, maybe more, but probably 2 years, depends on how fast 4k advances really.

The thing is I doubt I will ever get a 4K monitor for gaming, as I am a competitive player.

Do you know what the chances are re-guarding Nvidia releasing a 6GB Ti? Have they mentioned anything any where?
